USB help

I don=B4t know what is happening but since the last upgrade all sorts of th=
ings=20
are different.
One I have just discovered is the disappearance of the dialogue box when I=
=20
plug in my camera in the USB slot for example. There used to be a dialogue =
box=20
asking what I wanted to do. Now nothing at all. How do I open that file (=
=20
storage?)

I know, long ago there was a command which I kept for years but have chucke=
d=20
it since Linux versions became more easy to use
