You should be on 2010.2.  It is nothing more than 2010.1 plus=20
updates (which you should get) and a new label.  Actually, you=20
probably are already pulling updates from the 2010.2=20
repositories, as they and the 2010.1 repositories are one and the=20
same, courtesy of symbolic links so both names point to the same=20
place.

There are a variety of things that could be at the root of your=20
problem.  Go to Google Groups Advanced Search

http://groups.google.com/advanced_search?q=3D&

and search in group alt.os.linux.mandriva for all-keywords

mount usb pen drive

You will get about 25 hits, some of which are concerned mainly=20
with things not your problem.  Look for the more recent threads,=20
and maybe hal or udev as they are likely involved in your=20
problem.  You may find the solution to your problem there,
or at least get some idea of what information is needed for=20
someone else to diagnose your problem.

Separately, alt.os.linux.mandriva does have several sysadmin who=20
know much more about this genre of problem than I do.  A post=20
there might be useful.  Do not top post, and do not post from=20
Google Groups, or your post may be automatically consigned to the=20
used bit bucket on some machines.
