Unless there is a direct legal risk involved, PLF admins limit
themselves to technical roles only. Decisions are supposed to be handled
collectively among everyone involved in the project (with all classical
issues involved).

On this specific issue, Adam is right: there isn't any difference with
win32-codecs.
