Hi there, The MNF bonding section refers to ethernet channel bonding and NOT to DSL/modem/ISDN bonding. For more reading about this: /usr/src/linux/Documentation/networking/bonding.txt http://linux-ip.net/html/ether-bonding.html http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/marcelo/linux-2.4/Documentation/networking/bonding.txt http://www.linux-corner.info/bonding.html I wanted to also add Julian Anastasov's patches to the kernel but didn't have time for this ... here you have the details : http://en.tldp.org/HOWTO/Adv-Routing-HOWTO/lartc.rpdb.multiple-links.html On 6/14/05, taplin-NnGsx2/[email protected] <taplin-NnGsx2/[email protected]> wrote: > So I'm trying to get an understanding of how Bonding ethernet > interfaces works. > > What I'm trying to do is use two separate sdsl links to provide a > faster connection. > > I have two SDSL 1.5 links on two separate subnets. > > WAN Link One 69.25.220.192/30 on ethernet3 local ip 69.25.220.194 > > WAN link two 69.25.220.196/30 on ethernet2 local ip 69.25.220.198 > > I'd like to loadshare across these two circuits.
