The modem does not initiate the dialup, the firewall does this. I've set the modem to Bridge mode. I've been using it this way for over a year now on MNF1 as well as MNF2 Beta 2. =20 As soon as the firewall establishes the dialup connection, a new ppp0 is created, and this is why I define ppp+. =20 I think that I have found the problem. There is a configuration error in the Interface-Detection.php script which will cause that the Interface with the modem will never be detected. You just need 2 zones each with an ethernet interface, one for the LAN =3D ETH0 and the second=20 for the WAN =3D ETH1 to which you connect the ADSL modem.
