So far :
   * the %mkrel macro have been integrated
   * buchan is testing some semi automated rebuild

we need 
  * a way to "rate" backport ( ie, this one works and is validated, this one 
need testing, with a way to contact testers ), and some system to implement 
the proposal
  * how to manage the mirrors ( ie everything in one repository, one folder 
for each srpm, how to manage package that need backported library, etc )

The list is not very active, but buchan is working on the project.
