Hi What is the correct way to set up nfs with Mandriva ? What would an example fstab entry ? Every machine on my network handles nfs differently. Between 2 Mandriva boxes i have to copy and paste twice to get a file over to the other box and then i get an error message that it could not change permissions. But the file is ok and owned by root. I have no such problem with an Ubuntu machine and can copy and paste files from the Mandriva box no problem, i can also read and write to the files, which i cannot from the third Mandriva box as the icon has a lock on it. Is there some security setting in fstab or is it the security level ? Been bugging me for a while now. Marek
