And the official updates for mozilla and thunderbird came out today,
along with firefox updates that went out yesterday.

Keep in mind that using the above packages (the 1.5.0.2 ones) may break
other stuff on the system (ie. things that need a certain version of
firefox, like galeon and epiphany, possibly others).

Not to discourage anyone, but just so you're aware.
