[Security-Discuss] Are recent Firefox/Thunderbird 1.5.0.4 security fixes applicable to older versions?

Do any of the recent fixes to Firefox and Thunderbird need to be 
back-ported to the older versions of those programs used in Mandriva 
2006.0 and prior?
