[Security-Discuss] eAccelerator does not seem to work with open_basedir restriction after MDVA-2010:163

Hello all,

After the following security advisory update:

   MDVA-2010:163

I've been experiencing problems on my websites
(Mandriva Corporate Server 4.0).

Indeed, web sites would load as a white page.

The error message appearing in the logs is:

===
PHP Fatal error: Can't load [...] open_basedir restriction. in Unknown
on line 0
===

The sites work again if I remove the open_basedir restriction, but they
were working fine before the update, and I've double-checked the syntax
of this line.

I've searched a bit on the net, and the closest thing I could find is this:

   http://eaccelerator.net/ticket/414

I don't know if this is the problem, but if I disable eaccelerator (line
30 in /etc/php.d/Z99_eaccelerator.ini), the pages load fine again (with
the open_basedir restriction in place).

Is this an update bug or am I missing something in the configuration?
Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks,

Gilbert
