hi guys, have a question: can you modify your login into the system such that the root account cannot login directly in the terminal; that is, the user must log in, using a regular user account, and then execute an su command if he wants admin privileges. if he tries to login directly from the terminal (enter root in the username) even if he enters the valid password, the login will be rejected. is there an existing program for doing this? if not, is there a manual way of doing this? links and suggestions are most welcome.
