Hi there, I have been working to get Openafs working on Mandrakelinux 10.1 and 10.2, both client and server. I've created a SRPM to share my work. Main problem at the moment is, that the Openafs kernel module is a little shaky. When I install a vanilla 2.6.11.2 kernel and build the SRPM everything runs well. On the default Mandrakelinux kernel, things crash. This will get better once Openafs stabilized a little more on kernel 2.6, wich I expect, wil happen soon. I hope this contribution can help to have Openafs to be included into one the next Mandrakelinux versions. I've seen some other SRPMS by Guillaume Rousse which also work, but don't enable some server features. My specfile has a different approach than his, so I couldn't update/improve his work and restarted from scratch. With the installpaths I use in my SRPM, people should be able to use openafs docs and get a fully working Mandrakelinux openafs server/client within a couple of minutes. I also use the rc-script in the openafs tarball to launch openafs and found it a bad idea to Mandrake-ize it. I would like to discourage people to re-write this script. The packaged script works wel, and maybe we should just write a wrapper that calls this script instead of writing our own Openafs init script.
