Howto find Grub or Lilo

Hi,

Sorry if it is a stupid question, but how could I find out in Mandrake 
if grub or lilo is used as the boot loader? Unfortunately Mandrake 
doesn't have grubby :-(
I started writing an updates downloading (based on rpmsync) running on 
one computer in the network and an automatic update process based on 
urpmi.update and urpmi running on each mdk box. Whereas this works 
perfectly for ordinary packages for kernel updates I need playing with 
direct installing any existing kernel update for each previously 
installed kernel-flavour. Unfortunately I didn't find mkinstallkernel 
invoked by postinstall doing a too good job, and I've decided to modify 
lilo.conf, menu.1st by the script. For lilo however it would need to be 
run lilo with each new kernel, but not for grub. The question naturally 
follow: how to find out (if both installed) which one is in the mbr?
