One strange thing is that there is almost no compression at all: 51GB used on the disk, 49GB of iso files. On other servers I'm using -6 with a more satisfiable compression ratio. On probable explanation could be that there are a lot of "uncompressable" files on the server. > >more than 30 hours for the iso?? on other servers with similar size it > >needs only 4/6 hours... why? > > Maybe also you have very large files with holes, that are worngly > supported by afio, so you may want to use star with -R. > Can't say for sure without logs. > As I told above, full image done in around 5 hours. > > >3) In mondoarchive.log I have a lot of > >File descriptor 5 (/var/log/mondoarchive.log) leaked on lvm invocation. > >Parent PID 19620: /bin/bash > >File descriptor 6 (/var/log/mondoarchive.log) leaked on lvm invocation. > >Parent PID 19620: /bin/bash > > Yes.
