Hi Nikolaos, Are you restoring a guest that already had an existing install or to a fresh disk/VM? If the former, perhaps try zeroing the first 10MB of the disk before a restore; # dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/vda bs=10M count=1 This might help with the GRUB/boot loader install.
