I agree with you, this is a bug :-(

Good idea. The bug for me is linked to 3.3.9. Thanks for providing that feedback the final version will have the ifx (hopefully).

Yes. That patch should fix it:

New packages are available at ftp://ftp.mondorescue.org/test/centos/7/x86_64 for you to test.
(you only need mondo-3.3.0-0.20170606202108.s3665M.centos7.x86_64.rpm)
