Hi, Bruno,
I have tried all ther recipes in p2v.pdf without success. Everything seems
to be ok until I reboot, when I get the fatal error. May be a matter of
compatibility between Mondo and VirtualBox? I did similar tests with Hyper-V
without success.
There is something I do not understad. Mondo is capable of formatting my
partitions, mounting them, copy files from the DVD image, etc. so I
understand the disk drivers are present. May be I am forgetting something?
Mybe I have to create a /boot partition or change /dev/sda3 type to "boot"?
Thanks in advance!

Faustino

If you changed of HW, you need to have the right drivers in your
initrd/initramfs.
for that you probably need to force load them at backup time.
Cf: http://www.mondorescue.org/docs/p2v.pdf to have an idea (P2P is similar
to this one
