Try to compare through lsmod command the modules, before connecting the USB device, and after connecting it.

No, that's already in it. What you need is the HW driver supporting this device. ehci-hcd or something similar.
Mindi already includes most of the known one, so I don't know why yours is not in the list :-(

But if you find it, I'll add it.
