Force the integration in the boot environment that mindi creates by adding that driver to the list of drivers *you* want.

technically, edit /etc/mindi/mindi.conf
Create a variable
FORCE_MODS="my_shiny_driver"

Then re-run your mondoarchive command and check in the log that it's integrated (miondi log part)
