mondorestore stuck at probing floppy

Hi,
I am using mondoarchive version v3.0.3-r3091 on rhel 6.7 Gen8 . The  mondo-backup and restore works fine in normal case.
But after nessus  security patch upgrade the backup works but the restore operation get struck at "probing floppy" operation and not able to come out.
It doesn't generate mondorestore.log only it has mondoarchive.log and mindi.log and it don't show error condition. After investigation found that after
installation of  kernel version 2.6.32-754.6.3.el6 mondo rescue in not able to start the mondorestore operation and it got struck in probing floppy.
We are using the following kernel rpms :

     kernel-firmware-2.6.32-754.6.3.el6.noarch.rpm
    kernel-headers-2.6.32-754.6.3.el6.x86_64.rpm
    kernel-2.6.32-754.6.3.el6.x86_64.rpm

         Please let me know if any issue with the rhel kernel version or any specific workaround/ solution.
