As you saw in the OP:

Ign:18 ftp://ftp.mondorescue.org/test/debian 9 InRelease

(for stable version and as this is a separate project it has it's own
delivery rythm different from MondoRescue).

ftp://ftp.project-builder.org/debian/9/pb.sources.list file to have correct

Through the addition of both keys, I was able to get over the BADSIG
problem of things like mondo-doc. That did not resolv the same problem for
libprojectbuilder. Which uses the older (BADSIG) keys. Perhaps it needs a
regeneration?

Perhaps the libprojectbuilder sources should also be part of the
mondorescue sources.list

Missing from the quote of the OP:
<<<<<
# apt-get install mindi
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package mindi is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
However the following packages replace it:
 mindi-busybox
[Thus the mindi-busybox (attempt), above.]

[mondo-doc installs fine, mondo-dbgsym breaks for lack of mondo.
>>>>>

Perhaps the problem is due to a missing .deb file for mindi?
