You can use star instead of afio. Use option -R on the CLI for that. Plese forward the logs if you find issues. >I can also not try the current-testing-version in Suse as of >this. Btw. for your tests you can archive SuSE 13.x, 42.x and also 15.0 >as they are discontinued an no one "should" really need them. As you can read on the ML, some people use (for a good or bad reason) an old version of their LInux distribution so I don't want to prevent them to use MondoRescue if possible. >Would it be possible to deliver a live-cd- image making it possible to >install on USB-Stick/Harddrive to boot a mondo-preconfigured system >right on the fly? Not really. MondoRescue works on a live system to backup, not targetting another system that would need to be mounted, thu creating a difference betzeen the host and the mounted one. The SW is too dpendent of that fact to be easily changed for this to work as of now. >If i got that iso and got a working solution i will donate for this. Feel free to donate to the FSF o the Linux Foundation. best regards, Bruno. -- HPE WW FLOSS Technology Strategist http://www.hpe.com/engage/opensource Open Source Profession, WW Linux Community Lead http://github.com/bcornec FLOSS projects: http://mondorescue.org http://project-builder.org Musique ancienne? http://www.musique-ancienne.org http://www.medieval.org
