Hi Bruno, I finally got my old fedora server restored in vmware :) Thank you very much. I booted from the mondo dvd and mounted the filesystems but first I had to change sda for hda, if I'm not mistaken, in /mnt/RESTORING/etc/mtab and execute these commands: mount --bind /dev /mnt/dev mount --bind /dev/pts /mnt/dev/pts mount --bind /proc /mnt/proc mount --bind /sys /mnt/sys After that I did a chroot /mnt/RESTORING and grub-install /dev/hda and that was all. Previously I installed Fedora 4 in other virtual machine and I found the used modules in /etc/modprobe.conf file (mptbase y mtpscsih) and perhaps that helped too. _______________________________________________ Mondo-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mondo-devel
