Sorry, I think my message is not correct about the /tmp filesystem. I have faced similar problems while mondo generates an image and uses the default /tmp dir as temporal storage. Try increasing the EXTRA_SPACE to 600000 as suggested in this thread: https://sourceforge.net/p/mondo/mailman/message/36081631/ Best Regards. rafa On Thu, Nov 14, 2019 at 6:46 PM rafa <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi Steven, > > The message: > cp: error writing > ‘/tmp/mondo.tmp.jIc5gl/mountpoint.27329/tmp/mountlist.txt’: No space left > on device > > Suggests that you are running out of space in the /tmp filesystem. > > Try mondoarchive with a different temp dir (-T) > > best regards, > rafa > > > On Thu, Nov 14, 2019 at 4:21 PM Steven DuChene via Mondo-devel < > [email protected]> wrote: > >> Does anyone monitor this list? >> I sent a message a few days ago and I got a message back saying my >> message to the list was held up waiting for moderator approval. >> I am in the middle of a project where I am trying to use mondo to capture >> an image of a system and the issue I reported is a showstopper. >> Thanks >> >> -- >> Steven DuChene >> >> On Tuesday, November 12, 2019, 8:55:34 PM EST, Steven DuChene < >> [email protected]> wrote: >> >> I have installed Mondo Archive v3.2.2-r3578 and mindi v3.0.2-r3578 onto a >> RHEL7 system (RHEL 7.7 to be exact) and when I run the mondoarchive command >> it fails with an error of 'Failed to generate boot+data disks' and mindi >> says it is running out of space with an error >> of ‘/tmp/mondo.tmp.jIc5gl/mountpoint.27329/tmp/mountlist.txt’: No space >> left on device >> >> cp: error writing >> ‘/tmp/mondo.tmp.jIc5gl/mountpoint.27329/tmp/mountlist.txt’: No space left >> on device >> >> After looking around on the mondo archives and FAQs I tried setting the >> following parameters in the mindi configuration file: >> >> EXTRA_SPACE=300000 >> BOOT_SIZE=40960 >> >> but the problem still occurs. >> >> The mindi.log file I have attached below does indicate there are 5 or 6 >> kernels installed on the system due to previous upgrades. >> However I don't know if this is the problem with the above failure or not. >> >> Any suggestions would be appreciated. >> -- >> Steven DuChene >> >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Mondo-devel mailing list >> [email protected] >> https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mondo-devel >> > _______________________________________________ Mondo-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mondo-devel
