You can take the initrd made and extract it to see which size you get (was also thinking to recursive symlinks) Sent from my mobile, sorry for errors and brievety -------- Message d'origine -------- De : "Kalchik, Jeffery" <[email protected]> Date : 22/11/2019 14:26 (GMT+01:00) À : Mondo mailing list <[email protected]> Objet : Re: [Mondo-devel] [EXTERNAL] Re: Mondo 3.2.2 issues Good morning, Bruno. Updated the CentOS 6 host, and rerunning. I don't have any bind mounts on the CentOS 7 host at all, let alone on /proc. So, maybe I should be looking at this from the other side. What is being expanded on the #1 ISO image? I'll also see if I can crank through strace on an nslookup. I have a funny feeling that the ramdisk issue needs to be sorted out first. Ok great. On EL7 we may have an issue with missing dynamic libraries or something else. IIRC strace is delivered in the env, so you may be able to use it to discover what gets wrong. >Even more interesting..... the ramdisk issue I've been running into on CentOS7 is not an issue on CentOS6. Thanks for the diagnostic. So EL7 is providing a file expanding in a way too large one somehow. You don't have a bind mount on /proc elsewhere e.g. on your FS on EL7 ? That could explain stuff. Often that is used for chrootted daemons like named.
