Hi Mondo Rescue developers,

I want to report a problem, that was once described in post http://mondorescue-mailing-list.679749.n3.nabble.com/Mondo-devel-afio-Ready-for-volume-td4026794.html .

Unfortunately, the same problem remained in the test version of 'mondoarchive' under CentOS-8.1 (4.18.0-147.5.1.el8_1.x86_64). I activated two repositories on my server: "mondorescue rhel8" and "mondorescue-test rhel8". Then I installed the following rpm-files with the corresponding dependencies:

An important addition to the above post: running 'mondoarchive' (using 'afio' by default) will eventually cause the /tmp directory to __overflow__ (100% usage). On my small test system with 1GB of RAM (and 2GB of swap space), this led to a 30GB /tmp directory overflow (no space left on device...). I suspect that the /tmp directory is required to be __disproportionately_large__ when this test version of mondoarchive works with afio.

As a temporary solution, I use the -R key (by pre-installing the 'star' rpm-file). And it really works fine. But still this bug is happening and I am interested in using mondoarchive under CentOS/RHEL-8.x.

If more detailed information is needed, I am ready to provide it.
