I have things working backing up to ISO files on an already mounted CIFS share. How can I use the -n switch for backup to the same share? Or am I just doing it wrong? mondo doesn't like cifs:// so I'm using smbfs. /etc/fstab doesn't like smbfs I think because it's not in /proc/filesystems /etc/fstab: //192.168.100.100/Shared /mnt/backup cifs credentials=/etc/backup-credentials,uid=995,gid=995 # mondoarchive -N -3 -O -z -n smbfs://192.168.100.100/Shared -d srv01/mondo/mondorescue-$(hostname)-$(date +'%F_%H_%M_%S_%Z') -E /mnt/backup See /var/log/mondoarchive.log for details of backup run. Checking sanity of your Linux distribution Done. Network share 192.168.100.100/Shared is not mounted. Trying to mount it for mount: can't find 192.168.100.100/Shared in /etc/fstab Unable to mount Network share 192.168.100.100/Shared. Please mount manually. --000000000000c889e105f0e8e557 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr">How do you backup to an already mounted CIFS share?<div><b= r></div><div>I have things working backing up to ISO files on an already mo= unted CIFS share.
