I too, hope project gets revisited someday. I've used it for as long as we've been using Linux (20+) years. And only had to deal with the occasional needed module that I could add to mindi. By chance you know if any of these patches affect the size of the ramdisk created during restore? Currently I am fighting with it as it creates a 265mb /tmp/tmpfs to restore(untar) base needed programs (mondorestore, etc.) from boot media (CD,DVD or USB) so it can run mondorestore. But runs out of space before completing the untar.
