[announce] basemod-2.6.23

 Latest 2.6.23 basemod finally works - Had to tweak mkminiroot and deb-get to 
work round some problems (anyone doing local builds may want to upgrade).

 The first basemod for next year will be a 2.6.23 kernel complete with 
bootsplash \o/  More good news - It looks like the bootsplash patch will also 
work with 2.6.24, so there is life in the thing for a while longer.
