I understand why the IBM-Java livecd was not included.

The page mentions what went wrong. It does not mention what went well.

Highlights:-
  * Morphix encouraged users to re-brand a livecd for single purpose
use. Quick and easy.
  * Helping to spread GNU/Linux and Debian
  * Morphix in print. Featured in books, "Knoppix Hacks: 100
Industrial-Strength Tips and Tools" and Magazine interviews.
  * Morphix was at one point in time _the_ way to use and install
debian-sid. It was no co-incidence that Ubuntu in it's early days used
Morphix.
  * Morphest!

I honestly think without Morphix, Ubuntu releases would have been
different and debian-live would not be here.

Morphix ISO releases maybe in a coma, but the tools, the autobuilds
and #morphix lives on.
