And quite a lot went well, imho. We were one of the first with a decent
livecd, let alone a nice toolkit to easily build one yourself.

Indeed, it helped me bootstrapping a lot of Debian installs in its
time. Had a lot of fun with aquamorph and all the other flavours too.

That could very well be true.
