Hi Aquatix,

In irc - whilst I was away,

aquatix bmsleight: you're icewmgui works normally with X?
aquatix in qemu it complains about not finding any screens
aquatix but so does my lightgui derived aquamorph

The file /etc/X11/xorg.conf should be a symbolic link to /etc/X11/XF86Confi=
g-4

Making this symlink has resolved booting with qemu problems. My test
machine still booted X, but I some machines/qemu may need this.

I have been trying to upload for the past week a new version of
IcewmGUI-0.5pre5 but ftp -> sourceforge is fun. Still trying.
(Sourceforge please do not delete overnight uploads!)

Morphing-Morphix does has the xorg.conf as a symbolic link to
XF86Config-4, hence can boot from qemu.
