Restart X ??? Light-gui

Hi
Situation: old monitor, vsync range incorrect (and hsync has 6 fixed 
frequencies), do 'ctlr-atl-bs', edit xf86config-4 section monitor.
So far so good.
But, How does one restart X in morphix light-gui?
None of the common, famillier methods work ie. startx, xinit (with 
verbose cmd line).
I also scaned all and read most, start to finish, scripts in /etc/init.d 
to see if I could find the script that starts the X server, no Luck.
