If you're talking about the same problem after an install, it's an installer
problem and the new base wouldn't help. If you're talking about having the wrong
DNS addresses after booting the livecd, it's a basemodule problem. Either way, I
don't expect it to be fixed, did you have a thread on this in the forum?

The new basemodule has 2.4.23. Make sure you also copy the boot.img (ie. both
files in the /base directory)
