HD install and CD

Dear all,

I have installed morphix latest stable in my hard disk with no problems
and running great..

I installed locales in my system and works fine ... both locales +
translations.

Now i followed mainmorphing.pdf and chrooted to the extracted images and
installed locales , translations and other things and burn back to CD and
reboot from the CD  this time i can type in my langaue and in terminal
screen i do:

export LC_ALL=ne_NP then gedit. the translations did't work. same thing
works on hd install....


So, it wud be great help what is the differecnce between booting from live
morphoix CD and using from hd-install morphix.
