I've had a look at your patch. It adds a lot of duplicate code, I bet it could 
be made a lot shorter. Is the Ethernet protocol 0x8895 registered somewhere, 
or is this also part of the hack?
Anyway, I don't think there's any disagreement that your hack is unsuitable 
for the mainline kernel. Misleading connection tracking and giving iptables 
the opportunity to look at non-ip packets is not exactly something we want. 
But I'm sure it's useful for people who know what they are doing...
