Did your build, at link stage, also say: ebtables.o(.text+0xa6): In function `find_match': : the 'strcmp' function supports only C|POSIX locales Thing is, that function find_match() looks to me like it tries to find the requested 'chains' or 'targets' by doing strcmp(), and if that fails, it's incapable of finding the target :) Only, I don't see why the linking stage would give me that error/warning. > SS> I need to find out why it says this. > You sure that it's not a libraries problem? > Do You use latest uClibc from cvs? Yep. I tried with an older release first, because that came with the OpenAP-CT I am working on, but I switched to the latest CVS version because the one from 2003-01-12 didn't come with ether_ntoa() so it seemed. After replacing the older uClibc with the CVS version it compiled. But with the warning/error as shown above. > SS> But I don't really know where to start. > Could You build a temporary image without some another packages to > include strace or ltrace? I think I can. I have 1MB of 'space', of which about 450kb is taken by the kernel itself. Right now I have 12kb left :)) Kind Regards, Sander. -- | There's nothing like waking up with your Dickin's Cider! | 1024D/08CEC94D - 34B3 3314 B146 E13C 70C8 9BDB D463 7E41 08CE C94D ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf
