Did your build, at link stage, also say:

ebtables.o(.text+0xa6): In function `find_match':
: the 'strcmp' function supports only C|POSIX locales

Thing is, that function find_match() looks to me like it tries to find
the requested 'chains' or 'targets' by doing strcmp(), and if that
fails, it's incapable of finding the target :)

Only, I don't see why the linking stage would give me that
error/warning.

Yep. I tried with an older release first, because that came with the
OpenAP-CT I am working on, but I switched to the latest CVS version
because the one from 2003-01-12 didn't come with ether_ntoa() so it
seemed. After replacing the older uClibc with the CVS version it
compiled.

But with the warning/error as shown above.

I think I can. I have 1MB of 'space', of which about 450kb is taken by
the kernel itself. Right now I have 12kb left :))

Kind Regards,
Sander.
