Same here, I'll also be away next week :).

I wasn't implying you should :). I'm just trying to get *tables-save,
*tables-restore and the SysV scripts into the tarball ;).

=======================
Dags arptables doesn't have a SysV init script and doesn't have any config
file. Dags ebtables package does have a SysV script, but stores configuration
in a binary file /etc/sysconfig/ebtables.<name_of_the_table>. I also modified
the SysV scripts a bit to use the new tools and fixed some problems with the
status command.

Dags ebtables SysV does atomic load of config but unfortunately configs are
in binary format. So you can't read the configuration before you load it and can't
have meaningfull descriptions/comments.

For example: I prefer when working locally on a machine to edit the
text config file /etc/sysconfig/*tables and do a "service *tables restart"
and then the new rules are reloaded and I can try them out.
