Interface of ebtables

Hi all,

I am developing a user program (in Redhat Linux 9.0) which will filter
packet for specific Ethernet protocol. Does Eatables provides any
programmatic interface   to be used  for this purpose?

Please provide me this information .It will be a great help form me.
