Thanks for your attention to this subject.

Here is how to reproduce this problem:
- two hosts on a LAN
- on host A create a bridge
- add the device to bridge
- run on host A : "tcpdump -i br0 not ip"
- run on host A : "tcpdump -i eth0 not ip"
- on host you can use a very good tool like vlc to join a group :
"vlc udp://@[ff1e::8888]:8888"

This should generate a MLD report (which should be catched by
multicast router) but it is blocked by something in bridge.
So you will be able to see it on eth0 and not br0.
