Change the MAC address of packets using ebtables hooks

Hello,

Is it possible to change the source MAC address of packets using ebtables
hooks on a machine which is functioning as a router ? (I mean,
which forwards incoming packets ).

What I mean is: suppose I am getting a packet from A and on machine B.
I forward it to C using iptables forwarding rule.
And suppose I want to change some of these packets so that the MAC address
of them when trasnmitted from B to C will be the MAC address of A
(instead of B).
Can I do it with ebtables hook? which hook should I use ?
Should it be NF_BR_PRE_ROUTING  ? or NF_BR_FORWARD ? (remeber that my
forwarding
is based on layer 3, the network ip layer).
Or should I use instead **only** ebtables forwarding, and change that
MAC there ?
