Hi,

well you can have an application that creates your packets (let's say a
ping program you created) and you use ulog to intercept them. The netlink
sockets are used by the ulog to listen and receive packets.

Anyways, at some point, the packets will have to go through part of the
network stack (Layers 3 to 1 if you are sending them out.)

I don't think you have an IPTables QUEUE target equivalent in ebtables.
