ebtables install suport

Greetings,
I have a very dumb question regarding ebtables. I know that this is kinda stupid but i get this message when I try to install ebtables and i can't seem to find any answear around the Internet:
ebtables: error while loading shared libraries: libebtc.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Can you please tell me where did i go wrong here? It really annoys me and i hate thinking for myself so i wrote u guys hoping you'll give me a hand on this one :)
