I run an UML on my rootserver and I want to connect it with a bridge to the rest of the world. The server is disconnected by the hoster when it sends out an ethernet frame with a MAC address different from the ethernet card's address. Now I have the problem that the UML sends ethernet frames with the UML's (virtual) eth0 MAC address. How can I avoid this? Can I rewrite the sender's MAC address to the "allowed" MAC address of the ethernet card with ebtables? -- bli ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
