Hi, I tried to build a Linux bridge with QoS by using ebtables + IMQ, but failed. The following configurations were tried but the machine, at best, could only work a minutes or two then halted due to kernel panic :- Config #1 ========= CentOS 3.8 (Kernel 2.4.21) + manual patching ebtables-brnf-10_vs_2.4.21.diff.gz + linux-2.4.28-imq2.diff Result : working for one minute or two, then kernel core dump Config #2 ========= SLES8 SP2 (Kernel 2.4.21) + clean patching ebtables-brnf-10_vs_2.4.21.diff.gz + linux-2.4.28-imq2.diff Result : working for one minute or two, then machine hang Config #3 ========= CentOS 4.4 (Kernel 2.6.9) + linux-2.6.9-imq1.diff Result : kernel panic after turning on IMQ I hope someone could advise if there is no hope to make it work for ebtables + IMQ, or there was something I missed.
