Hi. I'm trying to get ebtables to work on our new CentOS 5.4 (x86_64)
system. When I do a 'ebtables -L' I get the message:

The kernel doesn't support the ebtables 'filter' table.

This is despite the fact that lsmod shows:

[root@foo <mailto:root@foo> ~]# lsmod |grep ebt
ebtable_filter 35649 0
ebtables 53313 1 ebtable_filter

The kernel I'm using is 2.6.18-8.1.8.el5xen (from rpm
kernel-xen-2.6.18-8.1.8.el5) and ebtables is from rpm ebtables-2.0.8-1.

I'm trying to use ebtables to filter traffic on the bridge which
connects together the Xen Dom0 (this host) and DomU (another host for
which I need to filter traffic).

So I'm rather confused that the kernel ebtables support is not being
found. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Peter
