Hi, Being a newbie to the ebtables utility, I am trying to set some simple rules using ebtables to make myself comfortable with the utility. I am using linux kernel version "Linux 2.6.10" and ebtables ebtables v2.0.6 (November 2003). Upon setting a rule in the ebtables (something like "ebtables -t filter -A INPUT -s xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx -j ACCEPT"), I dont see any incoming frames actually hitiing this ebtable chain rule. When I see the ebtables statistics using "ebtables -t filter -L --Lc"), the pcnt and bcnt read 0 inspite of numbeous frames from the specified mac address in the filter rule arriving and being processed. Am I missing something here? Thanks, Santosh This email may contain confidential or privileged information for the intended recipient(s).
