You are quite welcome.  However, it's just "Grant" (that's my middle

I'd recommend that you take a look at your DHCP server's configuration 
options.  I know that the Internet Software Consortium's (a.k.a. ISC) 
DHCP server has the ability to define sticky configurations for MAC 
addresses.  I believe this would be the best way to reserve a specific 
IP address for a specific MAC address.  At least this should be the 
easiest to do with out re-inventing the wheel.

Are you going to put the DHCP server on the Linux box running EBTables? 
  If you are, I'd bind DHCP to the bridge interface.
