This all looks very good.  Can I ask one last favor?  (I'll help if you 
would like.)  Can this be (read: will you) turned in to some form of a 
How-To that can be put with the other bridging How-Tos so that others 
can benefit from your trials and efforts even more clearly?  We know 
what you were trying to achieve here, but others searching the archive 
might benefit from a concise document like a How-To.
