Depending on how far you want to go with this issue. If I am not mistaken, the 4 LAN ports of CERTAIN models of openwrt supported linksys routers can each be splitted into individual VLAN, and each will appear as bridgable interface to the Linux operating system. With this capability, you will be able to perform the tasks using ebtables.
